Redefining Public Order, Satpol PP Member Achmad’s Viral Human-Centered Approach"We want to make the market orderly, clean, safe, and pleasant. We’re taking a compassionate approach so vendors and locals see why protecting public facilities matters," he expressed, Thursday (10/15).
The operation enforces Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order, mobilizing a wide coalition of Satpol PP, transportation personnel, police and military, PPSU personnel, environment sub-agency personnel, and local community representatives (RT/RW, LMK, FKDM).
“Keeping this area orderly takes community-wide cooperation. We need continuous oversight so public facilities aren't misused again,” he explained.
Kusmadi hopes the joint operation inspires locals to keep the market clean and organized.
“Markets drive the local economy. We all need to support this cleanup so vendors can trade smoothly while walkers and drivers feel comfortable,” he noted.
